Winter 2022 Spanish Immersion in Costa Rica

Winter 2022 Spanish Immersion in Costa Rica: We’re back on Spanish immersion in Costa Rica this winter with a wonderful group of travelers. There are a handful of working professionals and retirees on our Adult Spanish Immersion Trip, a group of healthcare workers on the Medical Spanish Immersion Trip, and a family of 5 doing a Family Spanish Immersion.

Want to try some listening comprehension in Spanish? Here is a brief conversation that I had with Stephanie and Vanessa who are co-leading the program with Leslie and Rory:

As you watch the video (feel free to use the the captions in Spanish), let’s see if you can answer the questions below…

  1. What are Vanessa and Stephanie’s roles with Common Ground?
  2. What is Sibu and what are we doing there?
  3. What aspects of Costa Rica do Vanessa and Stephanie mention that are similar and different from their experience in Mexico?
  4. What are Vanessa and Stephanie noticing about the travelers/students on the program?

Week 2 of the Winter 2022 Spanish Immersion in Costa Rica Program:

In today’s video lesson, Vanessa and Stephanie are recapping the week starting with our trip to the beach last weekend and up through our free morning today at the Mercado Central in San José. This video is 100% in Spanish, so use the captions to follow along and pick up some new words and expressions in our Winter 2022 Spanish Immersion in Costa Rica!
