Costa Rica and Ecuador are both known for their beautiful beaches, pristine rain forests, amazing wildlife, active volcanoes, zipline canopy tours, bungee jumping, and many more adventurous activities.  The Adventure travel portion of our high school Spanish immersion programs are usually over long weekends – and we have a blast!

We typically start our High School programs with a few days on a trip together so that students can get to know each other.  Then we settle in to our host families, Spanish classes, and community service.  Additionally:

• Ecuador immersion students spend 5 days backpacking and camping in the Amazon while studying biology and geology on a private reserve.
• 4 week Spanish Immersion students in Costa Rica spend 4/5 days at a very rural chocolate farm learning the process of harvesting and processing the cocoa bean into delicious organic chocolate.
