Welcome to the CGI Immersion Leadership Team!

We are excited you are a part of this fun, adventurous, life changing leadership team.

The objectives of this immersion leadership training course are:

• To get onboard with Common Ground’s Mission, Vision and Leadership!
• To learn about your role and responsibilities from pre-program to post program!
• To give you the most pertinent information you need in order to be an effective, positive leader on the Common Ground Team, resulting in impacting lives through our programs!

This course is composed of 4 units with lessons in each unit. These 4 units are:

1. Common Ground International – The Big Picture: Mission, Vision, History & Guiding Values
2. Your leadership role & responsibilities from pre-program to post program
3. The In’s and Outs of Daily Leadership
4. Risk Management, Safety and Health Protocols

This course takes about 10 hours to complete and needs to be done by March 1st. To get started:

1. Open this google doc
2. As you go through each lesson, jot down any questions, comments or concerns that pop up for you
3. We will be discussing these lessons in our monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly meetings
4. Use the comment box at the bottom of each lesson to ask questions as they come to mind.
