Family Spanish Immersion Evaluation

Please take a few minutes to tell us how your trip to Costa Rica was. We strive to make this a great experience for families looking to improve their Spanish (and we think we’re doing okay), but we really want your input to make sure we’re doing all we can. Thanks in advance for any feedback you can provide on your recent trip!

Step 1

Fill out the evaluation form.

Name and email address are optional fields if you’d like to submit an anonymous evaluation. We would of course appreciate the opportunity to follow up with you if you have some criticisms of the program just to make sure we understand well the issues so that we can work on fixing them. Thank you!

  1. This was a phenomenal experience for myself and my children (8 and 5). I felt incredibly well supported and was so impressed with the organization and responsiveness of the entire CGI team. I appreciated the balance of schoolwork with other opportunities to be in this community and learn from our host family and the team at Lapa Verde. The excursions were wonderful and, again, so well organized.
Our host mother was so kind and welcoming. Her home provides space that worked well with two young kids. She was exceptionally patient, especially with my daughter who was resistant to trying any new foods basically the entire week. I know this was hard for all of us, but she remained very welcoming and compassionate.
I was so grateful to the Spanish teachers in program for meeting all of us where we were at. I felt very supported by the teacher and the other students in my class. The teacher for my children was truly wonderful! She was so patient and was willing to work with both of my kids on the level they wanted to be at. I appreciated all of her efforts to engage them in the classroom and on little excursions they took.
This was a fantastic experience that we all benefitted from in a variety of ways.
