Tell us what you want to build and we will put together a proposal.
Common Ground International runs faculty-led programs and global health rotations for universities and health-professions schools in Costa Rica and Ecuador. If you are considering a program, the fastest way forward is a short conversation about what you need.

What to Include When You Reach Out

The more of this you can tell us up front, the more useful our first proposal will be:
Your institution and program, and the discipline involved
Approximate group size, even a range is useful
The term you are targeting, and how much flexibility you have on dates
Program length you have in mind, or the block your calendar allows
What the program has to accomplish, academically and otherwise
Whether credit is involved, and what your institution requires to award it
Whether a faculty member will lead, and how involved they want to be
Anything that has to be true for your office to approve it
If you do not have answers to all of these yet, reach out anyway. Working out the shape of a program is part of what we do.

What Happens Next

1. We talk

A short call to understand what you are trying to build and whether we are the right fit. If we are not, we will say so.

2. We build a proposal

Structure, academic components, in-country logistics, staffing, and per-student cost with inclusions stated plainly.

3. We refine it

Most programs go through a couple of rounds before they are right.

4. Your office reviews

We will provide whatever documentation your risk, legal, or international programs office requires, and we are happy to speak with them directly.

5. You go to market

Once the program is approved, you recruit and we prepare the ground.

What You Should Know About Us

4.94 / 5
across 131 participant reviews of our medical Spanish immersion program
We are a healthcare and global health specialist rather than a general study abroad provider. Our programs are CME and CE accredited. We have run in the same two locations, Santo Domingo de Heredia in Costa Rica and Cuenca in Ecuador, long enough to have deep local relationships. Every program includes 24 hour in-country leadership and daily supervision.
