Commands – Spanish Workshop Series

This is a 3 part workshop

Spanish Commands very often appear in everyday conversations. Whether you’re asking someone to pass the salt, requesting directions, or giving instructions, commands are an integral part of verbal communication. Being proficient in Spanish commands enhances your ability to navigate daily interactions seamlessly.

In this workshop series, you will take a deep dive into the commands in Spanish.  You will learn:

• The “Tú” form of commands – affirmative and negative. 
• Formal commands: The “Usted” and “Ustedes” form. 
• Nosotros commands & Practicing all forms. 

Part 1: How to use affirmative & negative “Tú” commands 

 In this workshop, you will learn:

• “Tú” commands using regular verbs 
• “Tú” commands using irregular verbs
• Pronoun Placement for “tú” commands
• Affirmative and negative commands using the “tú” form

Part 2: How to use affirmative & negative “Usted” and “ustedes” commands

In this workshop, you will learn:

• Usted y ustedes commands 
• Pronoun Placement for “usted y ustedes” commands 
• Irregular formal commands

Part 3: Nosotros commands – Practicing them together in all forms.

In this workshop, you will learn:

• Nosotros commands
• Pronoun Placement of “nosotros” commands
• Review of affirmative and negative commands for “tú, usted y nosotros”
• Practice of all command forms. 

Who is this class ideal for?

The ideal student has studied Spanish before and has a working knowledge of present tense verbs and knows how to conjugate them. You are also able to communicate in the present tense and can form and express sentences.
