Spanish Commands very often appear in everyday conversations. Whether you’re asking someone to pass the salt, requesting directions, or giving instructions, commands are an integral part of verbal communication.
In this workshop series, you will learn how to use the commands and enhance your ability to navigate daily interactions seamlessly.
This is a 6 week course hybrid course the alternates between video lessons and live classes on Zoom. Feb. 13th the course opens and you will have ONE week to complete the lesson and study materials before attending the first live session on Feb. 20th.
The class schedule is as follows:
Lesson 1 – Opens Feb. 13

Zoom Class 1 – Feb. 20
We will practice content from lesson 1: How to use affirmative & negative “Tú” commands. In this live session you will have an opportunity to reinforce and use the Spanish that you’ve been learning in these lessons.
Lesson 2 – Opens Feb. 27

Zoom Class 2 – March 6
We will practice content from lesson 2: How to use affirmative & negative “Usted” and “ustedes” commands. In this live session you will have an opportunity to reinforce and use the Spanish that you’ve been learning in these lessons.
Lesson 3 – Opens March 13

Zoom Class 3 – March 20
We will practice content from lesson 3: Nosotros commands – Practicing them together in all forms. In this live session you will have an opportunity to reinforce and use the Spanish that you’ve been learning in these lessons.
We believe you have to APPLY what you’re learning! What good is all that head knowledge without opening your mouth, making mistakes and using the Spanish your are learning!!!
One week before the live class, you will receive an email with your lesson to study. You will have one week to study the grammar, vocabulary and phrases and then you will come to the live workshop on Zoom to practice what you’ve been learning!!!
In this course we delve into the vocabulary, verbs and sentence structure you need to master the commands.
We provide you with quick and easy video lessons, downloadable lesson notes, templates, flashcards, quizzes and other activities for further study to acquire these Spanish skills and to test your knowledge.
Who is this class ideal for?
The ideal student has studied Spanish before and has a working knowledge of present tense verbs and knows how to conjugate them. You are also able to communicate in the present tense and can form and express sentences. 4 Pasos: In each lesson there are 4 steps to complete the lesson: Paso 1: Download lesson notes and vocabulary lists Paso 2: Watch the lesson and take notes using the lesson notes provided Paso 3: ¡Practica! Practice the lesson objectives in a variety of practice activities Paso 4: Application – Implement this Spanish, right now, today in your communication with friends AND in the live practice sessions!
What is the format of this class?
This is a hybrid online course: This course is 100% online and combines asynchronous learning (on your own time) with live classes at scheduled times of the week (over Zoom). Each course includes video lessons, vocabulary lists and practice, online posting boards for regular feedback from your instructor and conversational prompts for further practice.
