Preguntas del examen

¿Cuál es su mano fuerte? Which is your strong hand?
¿Es diestro (a) o zurdo (a)? Are you right-handed or left-handed?
¿El dolor del hombro impide o limita sus actividades normales (en el trabajo, en casa, etc.)?  Does the pain in your shoulder limit your normal activities? (at work, at home, etc.)
¿Tiene dolor? (inestabilidad, rigidez, hinchazón, pérdida de rango de movimiento)  Do you have pain? (inestability, stiffness, swelling, loss of range of motion)
¿Se bloquea? Is it blocking?
¿Se atrapa? Is it catching?
¿El dolor corre por algún lado? (al cuello, al codo) Does the pain run or shoot in any direction? (to the neck, to the elbow)

Instrucciones del examen

Levante la mano (derecha o izquierda).  Raise your (right or left) hand
Bájela detrás de la cabeza para tocar el omóplato (derecho o izquierdo) Lower it behind your head to touch the scapula (right or left)
Y ahora, desde abajo, intente tocar el otro omóplato And now, from below, try to touch the other scapula
Levante los dos brazos adelante con los pulgares para abajo Lift both arms forward with thumbs down
Resista mi presión. No me deje bajar las manos Resist my pressure. Do not let me lower your hands
Ahora, con los brazos a su lado, y en un ángulo de 90 grados “así”, rote las manos para afuera contra mi presión Now, with your arms to your side, and at a 90-degree angle “like that,” rotate your hands out against my pressure
Ahora, con el dorso de la mano en la cintura “así”, extienda la mano para atrás Now, with the back of the hand on the waist “like this,” extend the hand backward
